Mom of 3 boys
Boys love to dress up, so it will get worn over and over. Arm attachment was a little big and mask hard to see out of at night, but great for during they day. They love it!

I think some of the online reviews were a little harsh on this costume. Regardless of what I had read, I knew my boy of almost 4 years of age wouldn't be a happy camper if I didn't get him this for Halloween. I'm glad I did get it! I thought it was durable, not flimsy. IMO the price is reasonable and it served its purpose for Halloween. The mask is a bit difficult I'll admit- doesn't really line up quite right and it was a little hard for him to see out of but it didn't slow my little guy down at all. He was happy with it & so was I.

I purchased this for Halloween for my son. It arrived 2 days before. I was originally upset because the order was not processed until 3 days after I placed the order. This lag time created the possibility that the product would arrive after Halloween.
The extra money for the Deluxe costume gets you a plastic chest plate and an exhaust pipe that is a blaster. The blaster faired better than the chest plate. The fabric strips that hold the chest plate on the child are flimsy and held together by a small velcro circle.
The costume made it through Halloween, and that's what mattered. We did not use the mask. Our son has the voice changing helmet. There were several admirers of the costume.

My son loves costumes. This one was made of some thin nylon, but was good enough to last a couple of months. After a couple of machine washes, the fabric started to fall apart. The mask - however - is still around and my son loves to put it on. Worth the money I spent, for all the play time we got out of it.

the plastic is cheap and can be cut with scissors or ripped. Last year we bought darth vadar - I was expecting the same quality of mask & chest plate as that - this costume is a rip off for the price - you'd be better off to get the transformer with the big piece of foam built in - cheesy & pricey for what you get - we sent it back!!
