My 4 year old daughter loves to dress up in princess dresses, but we wanted a dress for our New Year celebration that she could feel comfortable in and not look so costume-y. This dress was perfect for our special occasion, but it's also a dress that she could "dress up" in at home as well and still feel like a princess!
